Air-Assist Pumps
Brumby submersible pumps are operated by low pressure compressed air and are suitable for a wide range of applications.
Low to Medium Flows—Low to High Lifts.
Brumbys operate on electric, fuel, solar, wind and any other means of compressing air.

S1 Pump
Designed for deep water/shallow lift. The S1 Pump is 3 feet long (1 meter) and weighs just 4 pounds (2 kg).
S 2 Pump
Designed to operate like the S1 but can also operate in shallow water/high lift situations with a controller. Pump is 3 feet (1 meter) long and weighs 4 pounds (2 kg).
L2 Pump
The L2 can operate off a compressor but is specifically designed for maximum flow up to 350 gallons per hour with a control er in shallow water/high lift situations. Pump is 7.5 feet long (2.2 m) and weighs 8 pounds (4 kg).
BP-1 Controller
Operates in conjunction with S2 and L2 pumps in low water/high lift situations.

Applications & Specifications
- Brumbys do not require power at the pump site. The Brumby submersible is an air lift pump operating on low pressure compressed air which can be driven by solar or wind power.
- The design allows use of inexpensive poly piping and avoids electrics at the bore site or in the well hole.
- Brumby submersible pumps are constructed of tough, non-metallic, non-corroding materials. (Stainless steel is available for mining applications.)
- No support cables are required. The pump hangs from the delivery pipe, which is usually poly. Though some pumps are up to 2.2 meters long, they weigh 5 kg or less.
- One Brumby is all you need—Brumbys are easily pulled and relocated—typically in less than one hour without the need for special tools.
- Brumbys will self-regulate when water supply is intermittent.
- Oxygenated water for aquaculture or aeration in tanks or pools of 1 meter depth or more, can be achieved using the Brumby.
- The only moving part is a floating ball non-return valve.
- System components include the pump, coupling, poly piping, and small compressor. If water is shallow a controller may be needed.
